What is BuzzRecruiter?
BuzzRecruiter is a web solution provided by BizzwithBuzz, Inc. to give recruiters’ visibility on the Internet through the creation of a website that carries the abilities and expertise of its owner.

What is offered through the business relationship between BizzwithBuzz and HireAbility?
BizzwithBuzz has partnered with HireAbility to provide recruiters customized web solutions with valuable recruiting feeds that are simple to use, yet very capable regardless of which package a recruiter decides to pick. Our partnership allows us to post your HireAbility posted jobs on your website via a live job feed.

Do I need to be a HireAbility.com member to get a BuzzRecruiter Website?
No. Although being a member gives you access to a live job feed (through HireAbility.com) as well as member discounts, you do not need to be a member.

Why do I need a website as an independent recruiter?
The internet is here to stay, and it is one of the most cost effective methods to promote your recruiting business online. Even if your business is small and you only offer a service and not a product, you should still have a website.

Internet marketing research firms predict that the number of online consumers will grow at a rate of 30 to 50 percent over the next few years. These numbers alone should be enough to persuade you that your business should have a website.

What are the steps required to get started?

  1. Selection and Sign-up:
    1. Determine your Website package (Express, Plus, or PRO)
    2. Click on the "Order" button
    3. Read our Terms and Conditions of Purchase
    4. Choose the correct package order area (scroll down to view all three)
    5. Enter your contact email and/or phone number
    6. Enter your HireAbility.com membership account url (skip this step if you are not a member)
      • You can sign-up with HireAbility during Website production. Your discount is applied on the final invoice. [Find out more]
      • Please notify us prior to final invoicing
    7. Choose the "order now" button. By selecting this button you Agree to the Terms and Conditions of Purchase. You will be automatically redirected to our payment page with our trusted payment partner PayPal®. (You do not need a PayPal account)
    8. Pay your initial payment of 50% deposit for services (Express = $250, Plus = $450, and PRO $650)
  2. Website Creation:
    1. Data Gathering - Fill out a short form to gather some basic information about you.
    2. Design Consultation - You are contacted for a design consultation by one of our graphic design professionals.
    3. Content & Images Submission - Submit your images and content through a simple form.
    4. Production - A beta website gets designed and posted for you to view.
    5. Site Review - Review your beta website, and make any final changes.
    6. Final Pay - Once your are satisfied, pay your final invoive. (We will issue a final invoice including your remainder 50%, plus any additional "add on" services (e.g. hosting, logo design etc..) plus your HireAbility.com membership discount (if applicable).
    7. Your Website Goes Live - Once final payment is received, your website gets posted on the internet. If you need hosting or a URL we can help you with that to. Just ask!

How long would it take to setup my website?

A typical site takes about 2 weeks once your content has been submitted and photos have been chosen. Actually uploading your site usually takes a few hours, but will depend on the hosting service.

How do I submit information for my website?

Once your deposit has been made, we will issue you a client login and password for you to use to submit all of your website design preferences, content, and information necessary to build your new site. The client login page link is on every page of the BuzzRecruiter.com website.

If I have a question or a problem, who do I contact?

You can contact us at support@buzzrecruiter.com or you can contact our main office at 408.978.BUZZ (2899) during normal work hours (PST).

Why get an email address just for my business?
An email address with your business name on it not only looks professional but also sends a message of legitimacy to your customers. Think about how it looks for your business to have an email address at, say, AOL.com or earthlink.net as opposed to: yourname@yourbusinessname.com.

Email with your business name on it also provides an easy, readily available avenue for customer communication. With the option of setting up various accounts you can create department-specific email addresses (i.e., marketing@yourbusinessname.com) to keep communications separate and more effective.

In addition, if you do not have or care to purchase your own business domain, then hosting with BuzzRecruiter allows us to provide email such as yourname@name.buzzrecruiter.com (e.g. joesmith@smith.buzzrecruiter.com) along with full webmail capabilities.

What is Webmail?
WebMail is a Web-enabled e-mail gateway that allows a customer, via a Web browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Netscape Navigator, etc.), to exchange e-mail messages from any computer that is connected to the internet.

With the WebMail application, and e-mail messages being stored on our servers, there is no need to worry about software upgrades, corrupt e-mail files, or having to set up each computer with e-mail software just to retrieve e-mail.

What is Web Hosting?
A service that allows you to upload and store a web site's HTML documents and related files on a web server. This makes the files available on the World Wide Web for viewing by the public. Also called site hosting.

Is "Powered by HireAbility.com" required and/or removable?
If a client is a member of HireAbility and uses the feed service on their web site then a "Powered by HireAbility.com" marketing link is placed in the footer area of your website. If the relationship/service is discontinued, then the link may be removed.

When responding to postings on the Job Feed, where (and to whom) do the resumes submitted online go?
When someone responds to your job feed and clicks on a particular job it takes them to the HireAbility site. There they can submit a resume which will be sent to you (the job poster), as well as be placed in the public database within HireAbility.com.

How should I post my jobs on SARAH (network vs. public)?
When posting your jobs in SARAH simply select “post to web” and your jobs will go to your website as well as several hundred job boards.

What is a browser?
A web browser is a software program that interacts with a web server to request a web site page. The browser requests the page from a server through the Internet and ultimately serves as a “virtual window” through which you can view the requested page on your computer screen. It also interprets the various computer "languages" web sites pages are constructed with. In short, a browser displays the web site you've requested on your computer screen.

What does a web host do?
Web hosts house, serve and maintain the files for one or more web sites. A web host also provides services that make those sites consistently available on the Internet. A host’s computers store the contents of a site as well as identifying information that enables others to communicate with your site. More important than the computer space that is provided for web site files is the connection to the Internet. Some larger companies and many government and educational institutions host their own sites, but virtually all individual users and many companies find it too unwieldy and expensive to purchase and maintain the equipment necessary to host their own sites.

What does a Domain name do?
A domain name is a similar to a street address on the Internet. Registering a domain name such as yourname@yourbusiness.com, is the best way to create an online identity for your recruiting business.
